Antonio Gaudi was born in Reus on June 25, in 1852 in Baix Camp to a coppersmith from Rludoms. He is a figure of Catalan culture that spent most of his life dedicated to building very complicated, fancy and labyrinthine works that are mostly found in Barcelona, where he studied, worked and lived. Mostly he designed buildings, but he did dedicate a very short period of his time to designing furniture and working in town planning landscapes. He received his degree in architecture in 1878.
